3)   Driving Test  (10:20 - 5 minutes)

      Written Test ( also known as Part A)

      If passed has to collect the initial Road Test Combine Test Schedule at Counter 31)

      Road Test ( Part B and C -> Combine)

      If passed could apply the Probationary Driving License after at least 7 clear days (10 working days)

       

      Apply Postponement / Repeat Test Schedule 

      (Pull forward schedule application are not accepted by Transport Department)

      At least 7 clear days (10 working days) in advance,

      except repeat Part A by next working day.

​

      If no show will be regarded as absent and result is FAIL

​

      If due to typhoon or whether then will postpone 

      Transport Department will issue a new Test Schedule in about two weeks by local mail.

      Note:  Driving Test are only conduct on Monday - Friday except special arrangement!

4)   Driving Test Application (10:25 - 10 minutes)

      Apply with Transport Department (Monday - Friday 9AM-5PM)

      Or through ZDIG

​

      Beginners -> Written Test

​

      Document Need ->   

​

      1) ID (Hong Kong ID / Passport)

      2) Address Proof 

      Applicant's own address proof (within 3 months, first page complete page and clear)->

      bank/ mobile phone/ insurance statement

     

      If no own address proof then 

​

      a) Current valid 4 pages employment contract (complete page and clear)

      b) Direct Address Proof of the employer (within 3 months, first page, complete page and clear )

      Such as bill from utility companies such as electricity, gas, water, rate, telephone, internet or

      bank / insurance statement

​

      Cost on application $610

​
